Nick Curry, Artistic Directorhttp://curry.likeawebsite.com / nick@likeawebsite.com Nick was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa and graduated from Millikin University (Decatur, IL) where he majored in philosophy and theatre. During his years at Millikin, Nick filled, at various times, nearly every role common to theatrical productions including actor, playwright, carpenter, lighting designer, and technical director. He was fortunate to have the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant for four theatre courses and two philosophy courses during his four years in central Illinois. Nick's main theatrical interest, however, is directing, and upon graduation from Millikin, Nick had directed over a dozen productions including his most significant achievement (and unofficial senior project) Angels in America: Millennium Approaches. Along with a group of dedicated artists, Nick founded the Like a Fox Players, which has produced many of the projects that are detailed on this web site. Nick serves currently as that group's artistic director, having directed each of its theatrical productions thus far. |
